Career Forward is a foundational program for those seeking to grow their professional career. A Google Career Certificate must be completed within six months of starting the program. If you are not looking to grow in your current career or looking for a job, then please look at our other resources.

Are you wanting to use Career Forward for SkillBridge or do you wish to pursue your Google Career Certificate on your own time?(Required)

There are two options for using Career Forward for SkillBridge:

1. Fellowship Track

There are three fellowship programs that are available through HOH for transitioning service members using SkillBridge. The options are:

Corporate Fellowship Program (CFP)
Salesforce Fellowship Program (SFP)
Career Forward Fellowship Program (CFF)

For CFP and SFP, you must apply separately. For CFF, you must first complete a Google Career Certificate (GCC) through Career Forward. After completing your GCC, you will receive an application for the Career Forward Fellowship. For all fellowships you will need:

A professional 2-page resume and
To have started the SkillBridge process with your Command (please work with your SkillBridge POC as each branch of service has specific requirements).

Timeline: Active-duty service members must be within 180 days of transitioning out of the military when beginning the 12-week Fellowship Track.

2. Training Track

This option is for military members who are actively seeking post-military employment and would like to earn at least one Google Career Certificate. In order to complete this SkillBridge option, transitioning service members must:

Attend all Career Forward webinars
Proactively network within their desired career field, and
Actively apply to job openings within their last weeks of active duty

Timeline: Active-duty service members must be within 180 days of transitioning out of the military when beginning the 12-week Training Track.
