A Partner For Life

1. PAVE helps veterans and caregivers find new career paths and passions.

“That is the point: to help people understand that they still have a way to contribute and find meaningful employment where they are engaged and enjoying life.” – Lauren Lobrano

2. In the last ten years, there have been great strides in the veteran space, but there is still room for improvement.

“There’s always more that we can do to keep this in the forefront of people’s minds — employers and hiring managers — and make sure that they understand what individuals are still able to do.” – Lauren Lobrano

3. Part of PAVE’s mission is ensuring employers understand the accommodations they can and should make for people with disabilities and understanding what veterans can contribute to an organization.

“There’s so much opportunity and so much skill that these individuals bring to the workforce that we need to think beyond what we were traditionally doing.” – Lauren Lobrano

4. PAVE strives to be a long-term partner by providing customized vocational plans that align with an individual’s career and personal objectives.

“It’s not one and done with us, it’s a continuous process…It can look like whatever that veteran needs, it’s very unique- we come up with a unique plan and path for every single individual.” – Lauren Lobrano

5. Nonprofits working in collaboration can more successfully serve the military community.

“Let’s make sure we’re collaborating…no one organization can be the end all, be all for veterans.” – Lauren Lobrano
